Before building anything, you need the mental model and the setup that makes everything else work. This module covers both — what agentic AI actually is, why Claude is different from a regular chatbot, and how to use Claude's full feature set on real work you bring to the session.

- How to structure prompts that produce business-grade outputs consistently — not generic responses
- Working with documents: uploading, interrogating, and extracting structured information from files
- Using Artifacts to produce polished, reusable deliverables
- Activity: you identify three repetitive tasks from your own work — these become your personal project thread for the rest of the day
- Hands-on exercise: upload a real work document, use Claude to extract key information and produce a structured summary saved as an Artifact

This is the centrepiece of the masterclass. The instructor demonstrates each part live and you implement it immediately after.

- Installation walkthrough — step by step on your own laptop
- Running a first command to confirm everything is working

This module moves from Claude as a standalone tool to Claude embedded inside your broader work systems. The instructor builds a complete automation flow live on screen — you replicate it on your own account in real time, test it end-to-end, and leave with a working automation that runs without you.
